It is summer in Connecticut! That means that there are a number of great events in the communities across our state that give us all the opportunity to turn out and enjoy a day or evening of fun.

- ARTFARM Presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Head to Middletown July 22nd to 26th to see a troupe of talented Shakespearean actors present one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies involving circus elements including stilters, jugglers, aerialists, and clowns. Live music will kick off the evenings at 6:00 p.m. Bring a picnic and enjoy this standout performance! Tickets will be $10 for kids and students and $20 for adults.
- Rockwell Park Summer Festival: On Saturday, August 15th, head to Rockwell Park in Bristol for a full day of fun. There will be arts and crafts, games for the whole family, food, exciting vendors, and of course live music – over 20 musical acts will be performing! This free festival will also include a car show, skateboarding competitions, wing tasting, a fine arts area, and a basketball tournament.
- Festival On The Green: Colchester hosts its 24th annual Festival on the Green on Saturday, July 25th. You will not want to miss the craft demonstrations, fife and drum muster, vendors offering jewelry, pottery, woodworking, painting, and more, or music from the Colchester Regional Chamber Orchestra. Getting hungry? There will also be food vendors offering hamburgers, hots dogs, popcorn, ice cream, and other classic festival treats.
