Get Grilling This Summer With Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon

We are in the middle of enjoying a beautiful summer in Connecticut. At the end of your workday, the last thing you want to do is spend your evening slaving in the kitchen, missing out on the rest of a sunny day. Fortunately, by turning to your grill you can whip up a meal outdoors.

So you can take advantage of the beautiful season, here is a summer grilling recipe for honey mustard glazed salmon.

  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup of whole-grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of chopped thyme
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 4 6-ounce skinless salmon fillets
  • Canola oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the honey, mustard, soy sauce, thyme, and garlic.

Oil your grill grate and brush both sides of the salmon with oil. Season with salt and pepper and grill until cooked through (about 3 minutes each side). Brush both sides of the filet with the mustard glaze repeatedly, flipping the salmon as you go, to create a glaze (about 1 minute).

Serve with the remaining honey mustard and steamed bok choy for a flavorful and nourishing meal your family and friends will love!
